As I’m sure your aware, from Monday 19th July the legal requirements to wear face masks will be removed and the onus will be upon personal responsibility for ongoing protection.
The GCMT, and my professional association MTI, are not recommending any changes to its current recommendations.
As a therapist I have a professional, legal and moral duty to protect the public and treat my clients safely and the failure to do so can result in prosecution and/or invalid insurance.
Therefore I shall be continuing to wear a face mask and visor during appointments.
After the latest announcement it looks like I could potentially be reopening my doors on 12th April.
I will not be booking in any appointments until nearer the time, but if you would like to be added to the waiting list please let me know.
Fingers crossed 🤞
It is your choice whether or not you wear a face mask to attend your massage appointment.
Good News! Last night we got the government go ahead to resume massage therapy!
I am still awaiting official guidelines from the MTI, and so I shall be taking appointments from Monday 27th July onwards to allow sufficient time to implement the required safety procedures.
As with everything else, there may need to be some changes to the way massage appointments are carried out. I shall update everyone further when I know more details.
In the meantime, if you would like to book an appointment please contact me with your preferred time and day and we can go from there.
I am now working full time at:
Room 2, The Old Police Station
Market Hall Street
Please contact me to book an appointment.
This year The Kington Lions Cycling event will be held on Sunday 10th July 2016.
I will be at the finishing line providing massages, to flush out the lactic acid after the 70, 42 or 26 mile bike ride.
